34 Days of Prayer Emphasis

While I'm on a Spiritual Renewal Leave, here's a prayer guide to pray for the church and for me.
34 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR PASTOR DAN AND HIGHLAND HOPE.
WEEK DAYS  - JULY 9-13
Day 1. Pray for Pastor Dan and family everyday. Asking God to bring provision, direction, and energy to lead this church in the way God intends.

Day 2. Pray for the Pastor Dan to have effective time management to balance the time between his family and church.

Day 3. Pray for the Pastor Dan’s wife (Carol) that they will encourage and support each other. Allow them to be equally yoked together, unified, and strengthened to be an example for the church. Pray for the Pastor Dan’s marriage to be a healthy one.
Pray for Pastor Dan’s calling and for him not to be offended by any negative attacks upon the ministry.
Day 4. Pray for the Pastor Dan’s adult children and grandchildren that they will be shielded from negative criticism or the demands of the ministry. Allow them to see a real church through the eyes of Christ.

Day 5. Pray for the Pastor Dan to have more prayer time to seek God’s direction and for Pastor Dan to schedule quality time for sermon preparation.

I AM THE CLAY

Day 4 on my Spiritual Renewal Leave. Days have been interesting; first couple of days I felt guilty not working.  I'm so conditioned to work, but I rested. One the third day, July 4th, Carol and I spent the day with another pastor friend and his family. Great day in the Lord!
Today, I'm in a sort of "funk." Can't really explain it, but started reading in Isa. 18 about the potter and the clay. I feel like I'm the clay!! My prayer today, "Lord, if You're trying to remold me, I want You to know... I'm Yours!
I'm reminded of Wesley's Covenant Prayer:
I am no longer my own, but Thine. Put me to what Thou wilt, rank me with whom Thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed for thee or laid aside for thee, exalted for
Thee or brought low for Thee. Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have
nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and
blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Thou art mine, and I am Thine. So be it. And the covenant
which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.

     Amen!

NEW EXPERIENCE

As I write today, I'm in the first week of a Spiritual Renewal Leave. Sorting out lots of things and looking for God's direction.  Please keep me in your prayers.
